TowBoat U.S., Lake of the Ozarks
TowBoatU.S. started offering non-emergency towing services to members in 1987. They started on the East and West coast as those areas were the most populated waterways. They offered assistance towing, fuel drops, battery jumpstart, and soft ungrounding. In 2001, Captain Charles Meyer noticed the Lake of the Ozarks was growing and needed a TowBoatU.S. Service. He founded TowBoatU.S.- Lake of the Ozarks.
As the years passed, the number of boats on the lake continued to increase. Captain Meyer recognized the demand for service by adding 3 additional boats and captains to the fleet.

With towing rates averaging $325 per hour for non-members, the average tow is $750 per incident and soft ungrounding's $950 per incident. It’s better to pay a little now rather than get stick with an enormous bill later. Present your Membership card to a TowBoatU.S. Captain and your payment level is taken care of, up to the service level you select.

Towing for vessels on the Lake of the Ozarks. We will tow you back to your slip, marina, service shop, boat ramp.
Need to get your boat to the gas dock or service shop? We can provide Dock to Dock service.
We carry extra gas so that we can get you fuel when you run out.
We can help you get your vessel out that has ran ashore or gotten stuck. We provide un-groundings for these vessels.
Our specialized team is experienced in salvaging and recovering abandoned boats or from wrecked situations.
